The Shadow Defence Secretary, James Cartlidge MP, was guest of honour at a recent dinner hosted by Wrekin Conservatives.

We would like to thank James for coming all of this way to talk to us, Mark Pritchard MP for inviting James to Telford to meet our members and the hardworking volunteers who made all of the arrangements.

Guests had the opportunity to quiz James on all things defence-related and listen to some fascinating stories about his time as Minister for Defence Procurement and the difference. The changes that James made to defence procurement were revolutionary for the UK armed forces.
