We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Denise Birkett today.

Denise was a Conservative parish council candidate for Donnington in 2023 and was well known in the community.

Former Chairman of Donnington & Muxton Parish Council, Cllr Thomas Hoof, said:

Denise was a community champion, her street parties were always great fun and she will be sorely missed by all those who knew her.

My thoughts go out to her children and her grandchildren who I know she adored.
