Cllr Rodney Pitt

Town Councillor

Rodney Pitt is a Town Councillor for Newport South.

He served on Newport Town Council for a number of years, organising the first Newport street carnival which was a great success until Telford & Wrekin Council imposed unreasonable conditions on the organisers that made it unviable for many years.

Rodney has also served as a school governor in Newport and has worked with various voluntary organisations in the town.

He was elected onto Newport Town Council in September 2024.
